2014 Update

Servicesso far

We have had the opportunity of providing various aspects of our services in a 2- week contract with a private hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The brief was to assess, identify and advice the management team on overall updating of premises, clinical practice and client service delivery in line with international standards.

Our experienced nurse consultant objectively assessed all the departments with special attention on health and safety issues.

Based on identified issues, training was organised for key staff and nursing team on ‘standards’ and clinical update.

A comprehensive report and recommendation was delivered to the management team at the end of contracted period.

One of the essential equipment recommended, a Cardiotocograph monitor, was supplied by Mos’Aid medical.

Periodic assessment is essential for any organisation to survive in an ever changing competitive world.

Moving healthcare forward ….. in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos!

Mos’Aid medical is now in partnership with Ibeju-Lekki local government in moving healthcare delivery forward!

It is indeed an honour to provide Cardiotocogragh (CTG) monitoring service in five identified primary health centres within the local government.

Aim

To support Lagos State’s efforts in reducing maternal and infant mortality and morbidity rates.

Objectives

*For early detection of complications from 7th month of pregnancy.

*To enhance clinical practice.

*To bring modern medical technology to the doorstep of our women.

*To reduce the stress associated with referrals to distant centres for our pregnant women.

Awareness Process

Cardiotocograph monitoring (CTG) is relatively new to some key staff in the PHCs. It is therefore imperative to provide them with vital information on indications and limitations for the CTG monitoring.

The information will be disseminated by Mos’Aid nurse consultant and the local government medical officer of health (MOH).

The weekly antenatal clinic will serve as a good forum to sensitise our women on importance and benefits of this non-invasive investigation.
